Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza has made a name for herself in the television. De La Garza, a Mexican American father as well as an Irish American mother, were both born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 in 1976. Soon after she left Ohio to move to Texas and completed her master's degree in physical therapy at University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas to Orlando Florida and took on different roles as an actor in local independent films as well as global commercials. The actress quickly discovered her love for the art of acting even in small parts. She relocated to New York. Her first acting gig was with the soap-opera All My Children. Throughout the early 2000s she was a small part in JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she was cast in her first series part in The Mountain, a short-lived television drama. The character was Maria Serrano and De La Garza had the privilege to star alongside some top TV actors like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. Her most memorable character came in 2006 on Law & Order where she played A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She was on screen for 85 episodes. The character she played on her Law & Order: LA spinoff was a short-lived. Her character received numerous nominations for the show, including Best Supporting Actress for Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. She also received ALMA Award nods. In 2008 she took home an Impact Award for Outstanding Performance in a Dramatic Television Series from the National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza was then selected as a regular actor in CSI Miami. She was Marisol Delko's wife and the character of David Caruso Horatio Caine. Her most current TV work was on NBC's somewhat dramatic dark dramatic Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. After two short episodes the show was canceled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her younger sister Cory has a ten year old brother who is younger than her. Her family was a family that was conservative and very spiritual. Milano's professional career started at seven when her babysitter brought her to an audition. The audition she took part in was one of over 1000 applicants. Her audition was considered one of only four girls. Milano was featured in commercials both on Broadway and television, including the American musical adaptation of Jane Eyre.
